I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
