The renowned publisher has appointed a seasoned producer from Respawn Entertainment to direct the development team at 31st Union, which is currently developing the forthcoming third-person roguelike extraction-shooter known as Project Ethos.
Management Change Follows Poor Response
The new appointee assumes the leadership position at the development studio following the exit of previous head Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to the game's disappointing initial reveal last autumn.
Recently, 2K president a key figure notified staff about this decision through an official communication, which highlighted that playtesting had shown the requirement for a distinct vision.
The president expressed that the developers is now refining the project with a refreshed focus, aiming to satisfy community desires.
A Pattern of Key Recruitment
The news follows a comparable step taken by 2K Games in August, when they hired an industry veteran from Blizzard to contribute to the BioShock development group.
